"LIFE ACCORDING TO NINO" SELECTED FOR BUFF

Life according to Nino selected for BUFF in Malmö, Sweden, and nominatied for the ECFA award.

"BASILE H." ON DUTCH TELEVISION

On Friday the 9th of januari Basile H, written by Rob Arends and Lisa de Roou and directed by Janneke van Heesch, will be screened on NPO2 at 23.15 pm.

When CEO Basile H. returns from a business trip, nothing can foil the growth of his success, so it seems. He is mentioned for a high-ranking position in Frankfurt, he has a well-to-do wife who waits for him and he lives in a beautiful residence in the woods. Then, his lawyer calls him with the announcement that a complaint has been filed against him by a waitress that he took to his hotel room the night before. Basile trusts he will win this time, too. But the dies are cast differently than he thinks.

"AREZO" ON DUTCH TELEVISION

On Friday the 12th of December AREZO, written and directed by Wiam Al-Zabari, will be screened on NPO2 at 23.15 pm.

No other language has so many words for the notion of pain than Farsi does. When the originally Iranian choreographer and dancer Arezo gets a surprise visit from her brother Koshan, this observation becomes the leitmotiv of a serene, emotional tug-of-war between two refugees. Where does pain lead to tension, where to conciliation? In sober colours, the director visualises the struggle of two creative people trying to give vent to an unspeakable trauma from the past that they have in common, but are unable to share.

TERUGTREKKEN IN FANTASIE

GOOD REVIEWS ON BOY & BALLAST

Saturday the 29th of september the single plays Boy (director Tami Ravid, writer Cecilie Levy) and Ballast (director Mirjam de With, writer Anke Boerstra) premiered at the Nederlands Film Festival in Utrecht.

We recevied nice reviews at ravagedigitaal:

Ballast

For the reviews of the other single plays check here.

HET JAAR DAT IK 30 WERD SELECTED FOR FURTHER DEVELOPMENT

The project is part of the project 'De Oversteek'.
