This is the story of Aagje, Toon and their son Rick (42). Rick suffers from psychotic episodes, depression and severe headaches. We follow their journey in the last six weeks leading up to the death of Rick. A journey proving that letting someone so close to us go, is the most extreme expression of love.
Director Laura Hermanides based the story on the true events in the life of Agnes, Jan en René. The film deals with the complex matter of euthanasia and the paradox of embracing life by the sacrifices it may demand.

Hyo Soon Kaag | feature debut film
The adopted Soo-Ji (15) and her brother Manuel (17) are a striking appearance in the white Dutch village they live in. Although Soo-Ji feels part of the community, Manuel struggles with his identity. His search for his roots effect Soo-Ji too, who starts to discover a part of herself she denied for a long time.
On the edge of the Lake will be Hyo Soons ficton feature debut. It is a story that is close to Hyo Soon as it contains elements from her childhood. The struggle Soo-Ji goes through in the story is also what Hyo Soon experienced growing up as a teenager in an almost white village – a search for identity in a world where she stands out.

Liz is a retired singer still haunted by her former success. Pressured to fulfil the remaining obligations of a record contract, she decides to visit her estranged half-brother Gabe who lives in Amsterdam. Liz soon revamps some long-simmering tensions with Gabe who, a troubled writer himself, fears being eclipsed by his successful sibling. To make matters worse, Gabe’s girlfriend Joey becomes a fixture in Liz’s life, further complicating an already deteriorating family dynamic.
Torch Song is the first feature film written and directed by Jeroen Houben, starring Carla Juri (BLADE RUNNER 2049, WETLANDS), Markoesa Hamer (MOLOCH) and Al Weaver (COLETTE).

Once there, his friend appears to have disappeared without a trace and Menne decides to look for him. Menne slowly discovers that the former mining village and its inhabitants carry a troubled past and the search takes him further and further away from reality.

When perfectionistic Cinelli’s shell is stolen by her jealous neighbor Peri, she tumbles into depression. While Peri finds out how suffocating Cinelli’s life is, Cinelli realizes she is more than just her shell.
Down in the Dumps will be an animated childrens film about the consequences of not feeling yourself. It explores feelings of shame, insecurity and loneliness in a playful matter.
Animator, set designer and visual artist Vera van Wolferen combines the best of every world. She creates physical worlds, combines it with digital storytelling, and uses these techniques to make fantasy world come to life.

Summer Souvenir is a film written from a personal urgency that deals with a universal subject. It is a poetic coming-of-age film, in which themes such as love, discovery and processing of trauma are central.
