Family Affair Films is a female-led production company committed to creating authentic stories that bring fresh perspectives and resonate with audiences worldwide.

The company specializes in contemporary fiction, animation and documentaries of high artistic quality with a strong author-driven vision. 

Their slate includes features such as Young Hearts (Berlinale 2024) by Anthony Schatteman, Summer Brother (NFF 2023) by Joren Molter and Light As Feathers (Toronto 2018) by Rosanne Pel. Donkey Days, Rosanne Pel’s second feature is expected for 2025. 

Furthermore, their documentary slate includes Neshoma (IDFA 2024) by Sandra Beerends, Occupied City (Cannes 2023) by Steve McQueen and Three Minutes – A Lengthening (Venice 2021) by Bianca Stigter. The Jacket (IDFA 2024) by Mathijs Poppe will be released in cinemas in May 2025. 

Their short animation Down in The Dumps by Vera van Wolferen premiered at Berlinale 2025.
